PersonalizeWP allows you to create a range of content variations, all in one block.
The content variations block can be found by navigating to the Block Inserter (by clicking the blue + icon in the top left corner of the WordPress page editor), here you can either search directly for ‘content variations’ or if you scroll down through your available blocks, it will be marked with the PersonalizeWP icon.

Insert this block into your page and then you’re ready to start adding your content, you can add any of your usual content blocks or patterns into this section. You can easily view and manage everything within the usual list view, off to the left-hand side. You can also see all of your current variations listed there and easily switch between them. Alternatively, you can switch between variations by using the toolbar which appears above the block.

First, you will need to add your fallback or ‘default‘ content, which is what will be visible to anyone who doesn’t meet the conditions you apply to your content variations.
When you’ve added your other variations, you can then apply rules, segments or set lead scoring information to target specific visitors by going to the right-hand side Personalize menu.
For example, if a visitor has been looking at a specific product range, you could add a content variation to target their particular interest by selecting the appropriate segment(s). Below, you can see a screenshot of a content variation where we are targeting visitors who have visited kitchenware products by using the relevant segment.

You could also choose personalization rules to target things such as the visitors location, products browsed, day of the week, time of day, the device they’re using and more.
