PersonalizeWP integrates with WooCommerce in both our free and Pro versions.

What is WooCommerce?

WooCommerce is a flexible, open-source eCommerce plugin for WordPress, designed to help businesses create and manage online stores. It enables users to sell products and services, both physical and digital, with ease by providing essential features like inventory management, payment processing, shipping options, and customizable storefronts. WooCommerce integrates seamlessly with WordPress, allowing users to build fully functional online shops while leveraging WordPress’s content management capabilities.

Does PersonalizeWP integrate with WooCommerce?

Yes! WooCommerce integration is available in both the Free version of PersonalizeWP and the Pro version.

In the free version, you can use show or hide blocks based on whether visitors have purchased a product, have a product in their basket, and how much they’ve purchased – both in terms of number of products and total spend. 

In the Pro version you can take these even further, creating your own segments based on specific products purchased or product categories and use these to target customers with additional content.

WooCommerce Rules

Our personalization rules work right out of the box, and you can setup new rules on the Personalization Rules screen. Just select the condition that you want to use, choose the value and you’re up and running. You will be able to use this rule on your pages as many times as you need it.

Viewing purchases in Visitor Profiles

When you have the Pro version installed, you can track visitor behaviour and build detailed profiles based on their interactions with your store, such as product views, purchases, and browsing habits.

This helps you show visitors products and deals that match what they like or have bought before. By customising their experience based on what they’ve done, you can keep them more interested and increase your chances of making a sale.

Using WooCommerce in segments

With PersonalizeWP’s WooCommerce features, you can easily create personalized shopping experiences for your customers using segments. By segmenting users based on their behaviour – like what’s in their cart or their purchase history – you can show them products or deals that fit their needs. 

For example, frequent buyers might see exclusive discounts, or customers interested in a certain category could get product recommendations. It’s all about making sure each shopper feels like the store is tailored just for them, driving more engagement and boosting sales.

Adding lead scores for WooCommerce purchases

PersonalizeWP also allows you to assign a lead score to visitors on the basis of whether they have purchased products or from specific product categories.

You can use multiple products or categories in the scoring rule, and use AND/OR condition matching depending on whether you want the visitor to match all the conditions or just one of them.

As part of the rule you can choose to add a positive or negative score to their profile, and this will happen automatically when the conditions are met. 

Using visitor data in your site

Once you have mapped your customer data to your visitor profiles, you can display visitor data from those profiles in your website blocks.

When you have the Pro version of PersonalizeWP installed, you will see a new dropdown menu available in the Block Editor.

This feature allows you to select text in your block, and replace it (if it exists) with data from a visitor profile. For example, you want to insert the visitor’s name into a welcome section to personalize the content they see.
